Pure C, and Air République, the cozy Resto Bars of top chef Sergio Herman are located in Cadzand, 20 kilometers from De Zonnebrug. Cadzand-bad is the most southern seaside resort in the Netherlands. The wide beach exerts an irresistible attraction for young and old. There is no need to get bored here. From a quiet walk on the beach to actively participating in one of the many activities of sport, everything is possible.
In the port city of Breskens you will find Spetters where you can eat at star level in a casual atmosphere! Bistro De Kluiver is also recommended! Both restaurants have a picturesque view of the harbor.

The famous border town of Sluis is a stone's throw from St-Jan-in-Eremo. This friendly and attractive shopping city has long been known for its Burgundian atmosphere. The rich past, in combination with the many shops, restaurants and cafes, creates an enormous attraction. The shops and catering are open 7 days a week. The culinary connoisseur will certainly enjoy themselves here. There is a very diverse range of snack bars and restaurants. Because Sluis is a stone's throw from the Belgian border, you can enjoy the hospitable Flemish atmosphere.
The mussel town of Philippine is located 14 km from our guest house. Philippine was once a mussel port, linked to De Braakman. This water was particularly suitable for growing mussels. Now it is the mussel restaurants that keep the mussel name high and appeal to both locals and tourists.
Aardenburg is situated 12 km from our residence. It is one of the oldest inhabited places in the Netherlands and Flanders. Numerous Roman finds make the city an archaeological highlight.
